Alaniz is a fast growing digital marketing agency located in Marin County. We have a tight-knit team of marketing professionals and we have big plans for where we want to take our agency. We are currently looking for an experienced Digital Marketer to join our team.
We are looking for a digital marketer with a hybrid skillset, including the following:
Digital Advertising Strategy and Campaign Development
Management of Search, Social and Display Campaigns
High Level User of AdWords, Facebook, Google Analytics

Interacting with Clients – Support the team in interacting with clients to understand needs, set strategy, spec projects, set expectations, ensure project success and client happiness.
Developing Strategies – Conduct research, review analytics, and contribute to the development of digital marketing strategies that clearly align with client goals and business objectives.
Building and Managing Campaigns – Develop digital marketing campaign assets. Activities may include research, content production, social media management, content distribution and promotion, proofreading, email and newsletter development, updating website copy, building conversion paths, reviewing analytics, tracking search ranking, managing keyword campaigns, building reports, and more.
Working with Technology – Manage and utilize core marketing technologies and platforms, including Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, HubSpot, SalesForce, Google Analytics, AdWords, Facebook Ads, Moz, and more.
Project Management – Work as part of a team to deliver work according to our agile process. Participate in daily standups, review & retro, and planning meetings. Manage work in Jira, our project management platform.
Completing Ongoing Training – Complete all required training and certifications in our formal training program to become an expert in inbound marketing, social/search/content marketing, marketing automation software, public relations software, CRM, and more.
2+ Years of Experience – 2+ years of relevant experience working in-house or at an agency.
Digital Marketing Savvy – Background knowledge of modern buyer behavior and inbound marketing demand generation strategies, including search, social, and content marketing.
Marketing Technology – Comfortable with marketing technology and a fast learner of new platforms. Basic knowledge of Adobe CS, WordPress, Google Analytics, AdWords, Hubspot, and/or other marketing automation platforms is highly valued.
Qualities – Positive, can-do attitude. Fun to work with and a great team member. Business savvy. Analytical. Adaptable. Strong writer.
Education – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Strong intrinsic drive for ongoing learning with ability to demonstrate through coursework, reading, and certifications.
