Alaniz Marketing started in 2008 as a dream to help businesses grow. We saw companies reeling to adjust to a rapidly changing digital world and the marketing landscape was full of traditional agencies, one-dimensional specialists, and countless vendors peddling their particular product or service.
But there was nobody to help companies pull everything together. So We Started Alaniz.
Our goal was to build an agency that focused on transparency, sound business strategy, and in-depth multi-channel marketing expertise. Today, Alaniz is a growing company with a wonderful team and a strong stable of clients. We work hard, play hard, and we love what we do.

Meet Our Leadership
Roxanne founded Alaniz based on her dream of helping businesses grow. Roxanne’s vision has propelled the company to become a fully integrated agency with core competencies in business strategy, advertising, digital marketing, and public relations.
Roxanne is a 25-year business and marketing veteran with experience ranging from owning and operating her own businesses to working with global brands as an advertising executive for ABC and Disney. When she’s not working, you can find her driving the California coast in search of the perfect wave and spending time with her family in Capitola.
Andrew joined Alaniz as a partner in 2011 to manage our directional strategy and internal organization. Andrew has played a key role in integrating technology into our core service areas, including the development of our advertising, digital, and PR infrastructure.
Andrew has a 15-year background in consulting, business development, and integrated marketing and has done extensive work in the pharmaceutical, legal, and high tech industries. He is also fluent in several languages and was raised and educated abroad during his early years.
Meet the Alaniz Team
Gerri brings a wealth of experience to her role as Alaniz’s community relations ambassador and business development executive. She is responsible for Alaniz’s presence in the San Francisco Bay Area communities and has fostered relationships with many charities and organizations in the area. She is also involved as a leader in the Latino community and with the Women’s Initiative. Tambíen, se habla Español.
Luke is an imaginative and thoughtful creative leader with a background in Graphic Design. He holds a BFA from California College of the Arts where he studied the discipline of design thinking and form making. He has a love for typography, and brings a craft and process to problem solving that creates delightful and prosperous outcomes.
As a multidisciplinary designer, Luke has helped his clients shape and share their brands products, experiences, and expressions with identity, web, social, packaging, event, and environmental design solutions.
Luke is a native Vermonter with a calm, plain speak attitude. A lover of the outdoors and home improvement projects.
Julian is a creative graphic design and front-end website developer making beautiful websites, landing pages using his expertise in HTML, CSS and WordPress; and he builds effective marketing campaigns using HubSpot and SharpSpring. When not working, Julian spends his time with his son and plays guitar at local Bay Area venues.
With a strong background working with established B2B Saas companies and burgeoning startups, Jennefer is a valuable member of our team. She has a natural affinity towards data science, content management, and client relationship building. When not at work you can find her working in the garden and riding her bike.
Esteffani coordinates campaigns for our Hispanic marketing division. Esteffani has a background in hospitality management and also managed operations at a renowned surf and paddle board shop, Capitola Surf and Paddle. In her (not so) free time, Esteffani can be found chasing a handsome one year old around the surf village of Capitola.
Bryan has more than 10 years of design and development experience in everything from print to digital mediums launching a range of differentiated products globally. With a passion for design, functionality, and data, he has worked with companies large to small, helping them sail past the competition. When not launching products or building beautiful websites and campaigns you can find Bryan and his family of five out on the water —sailing aboard SV Tipsy Turtle.
Lez is a skilled paid digital marketing media buyer, analyst, and author. His well known book “How I built a Patient Acquisition System that Generated More Than 1,500 Leads in Just 6 Months,” features some of his best practices and keys to success. His specialties also include optimizing our client’s traffic, conversions, and retention rate. In his free time, Lez enjoys following Formula 1 racing, exercising, and exploring nature with friends.
Bob Schnell is a recent Virginia transplant to Marin County. His focus is in branding, headshot and lifestyle photography. I his free time, he explores the natural beauty of Northern California with his fiancee.
Michael is an experienced WordPress web designer with a strong focus on project planning and client relationships. Search engine optimization is also a strength that Michael brings, helping clients get found for the keyword phrases their customers search. Outside of work Michael enjoys playing guitar and surfing at his local Southern California beaches with family and friends.
Micki has a passion for making her client’s message shine, whether in a press release, newsletter article, or social media post. She has a diverse copywriting and public relations background, with experience in the construction, healthcare, entertainment, retail, wine, and accounting industries. When she’s not in her office, you might find her playing tabletop games, hiking, ballroom dancing, or practicing Jiu Jitsu.
Jason Satterlund is an award-winning director and owner of Big Puddle Films, a full-service film production company established in 2001.
Satterlund has been writing and directing films for over 25 years. He travels the world creating feature films, television series, commercials, music videos, and documentaries.
Satterlund wrote and directed the award-winning feature film The Record Keeper, which premiered at the Raindance Film Festival in London and is the creator of the children’s TV show, Studio 316. When he isn’t busy directing his own projects, he enjoys teaching filmmaking workshops, shaping the filmmakers of the future.
While Travis is not technically a part of our team, he’s definitely a part of the Alaniz family and key to our IT operations running smoothly. Travis and his team at Marin Mac Tech and Fort Point IT helped us design and set up our technology infrastructure and keep things running on point day in and day out.
Zina has a bookkeeping background working in accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and as a paraplanner. She is hard working, flexible, and detailed. She has a very positive and her accent helps too.
Jerome Clark is a marketing executive and consultant who has spent nearly two decades building brands for some of the most notable companies in the US and abroad including L’Oreal, Elizabeth Arden/Revlon and Groupe SEB. He has a natural passion for advising emerging and startup brands in the strategic areas of branding, digital & integrated marketing communications, e-commerce, and new product development. In his down time, he enjoys volunteering to serve his local community, working out and exploring his personal passions for art, music and travel.
A native of Chicago, Illinois, Chris is dedicated to helping businesses and organizations achieve their growth goals via technology and creativity. He brings over 20+ years of experience in creative services and digital marketing, where he is an expert in using HubSpot to any organization’s advantage.
Outside the office, Chris resides in the Mohave Desert outside Las Vegas, Nevada, where he has a huge passion for aerial photography as a drone pilot who runs a small aerial photography business www.flypam.com.
Jun is an experienced designer with a strong focus on brand development, print, and digital designs. User interface and user experience is also a strength that he brings, as he has worked with small to large companies to help them solve visual communication problems.
Outside of work, Jun is also a musician playing guitar for a soul/jazz band and he loves surfing with friends along the coastal side of La Union, Philippines.
Ella is proud to be part of the Alaniz team. In her spare time, she enjoys playing fetch, going on runs with her mom, and eating lots of meat.
Brandon is a digital marketer with a passion for building brands through strategy and content creation. His educational background in strategic communication and marketing combined with his experience in content creation complement each other well as a digital marketer, where he loves to strategize and execute creative ideas to generate brand awareness and affinity for clients.
A Bay Area native, Brandon loves rooting for the Warriors, listening to RnB music and various podcasts, exploring different cities, and working out.
Stephanie is a results-driven project manager who has spent the last 12 years managing complex projects to help scale enterprise businesses. Her focus is to build trust through collaboration and transparency in a combined effort to drive efficiency.
Stephanie has held marketing and project management leadership positions at several national brands and agencies while securing her PMP certification.
A native of Asheville, NC, Stephanie spends her time with her husband and son caring for their hobby farm, hiking, and ballroom dancing.
Noe Sacoco has over 12 years of PR experience and specializes in executing communications programs and providing media relations for the tech, hospitality, and travel sectors. From coordinating product launches, product reviews, influencer programs, event management, funding announcements, Noe has a track record of delivering sound strategic counsel beyond traditional PR – paving the way for setting and achieving business-driven goals and metrics that have impact.
With an aggressive media relations approach, Noe has secured media hits in AP, CNBC’s Squawk Box, Entrepreneur, Fast Company, GQ, Inc, Newsweek, Reuters, The Atlantic, Travel + Leisure, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, and hundreds more. Noe holds a B.A. in Mass Communications & Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations from California State University, Fresno.
With more than three decades of public relations experience, Greg works with a variety of business, and non-profit clients. He develops public relations campaigns and strategies, handles media relations, writes news releases and byline articles, develops media kits and other PR materials, builds media lists, pitches stories to the media, and coordinates client events.
Greg has served as a public relations specialist for two full-service marketing agencies as well as a small boutique PR firm. Prior to crossing over into PR, he worked as a website content editor for two national sports websites, and served as a news reporter, sportswriter, and copy editor at several daily and weekly newspapers.
Greg attended college on a baseball scholarship at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas and at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. For the past 18 years, Greg has served as an assistant baseball coach at Clayton High School. He has a B.A. in Journalism from SIUC.
Sai Raj is a digital marketing executive and consultant who has spent nearly a decade building brands for SaaS product companies, IT services, Software and Tech across the United States.
He has a natural penchant for consulting, strategizing, and executing LinkedIn branding and marketing, email marketing, outreach/outbound/inbound marketing, and automation and lead generation for up emerging and startup enterprises. He loves the MarTech industry and exploring new tools in the market but has a special liking for HubSpot!
In his spare time, he enjoys volunteering to serve his local community by tutoring them about B2B Digital Marketing nuances, learning about career and money management paths, and exploring a personal passion for traveling and exploring the world.
