About the Alaniz Team
Alaniz Marketing started 2008 as a dream to help businesses grow. We saw companies reeling to adjust to a rapidly changing digital world and the marketing landscape was full of traditional agencies, one-dimensional specialists, and countless vendors peddling their particular product or service.
But there was nobody to help companies pull everything together. So We Started Alaniz.
Our goal was to build an agency that focused on transparency, sound business strategy, and in-depth multi-channel marketing expertise. Today, Alaniz is a growing company with a wonderful team and a strong stable of clients. We work hard, play hard, and we love what we do.
Roxanne founded Alaniz based on her dream of helping businesses grow. Roxanne’s vision has propelled the company to become a fully integrated agency with core competencies in business strategy, advertising, digital marketing, and public relations.
Roxanne is a 25-year business and marketing veteran with experience ranging from owning and operating her own businesses to working with global brands as an advertising executive for ABC and Disney. When she’s not working, you can find her driving the California coast in search of the perfect wave and spending time with her family in Capitola.
Andrew joined Alaniz as a partner in 2011 to manage our directional strategy and internal organization. Andrew has played a key role in integrating technology into our core service areas, including the development of our advertising, digital, and PR infrastructure.
Andrew has a 15-year background in consulting, business development, and integrated marketing and has done extensive work in the pharmaceutical, legal, and high tech industries. He is also fluent in several languages and was raised and educated abroad during his early years.
Gerri brings a wealth of experience to her role as Alaniz’s community relations ambassador and business development executive. She is responsible for Alaniz’s presence in the San Francisco Bay Area communities and has fostered relationships with many charities and organizations in the area. She is also involved as a leader in the Latino community and with the Women’s Initiative. Tambíen, se habla Español.
Senior Content Strategist
Bill understands corporate marketing communications from the inside out, having served as a marcom manager and director for successful startups and large corporations in technology (Cisco Systems) and professional services (Brown and Caldwell). He understands the need for marketing initiatives to be in-sync with sales teams, providing measurable results in the form of a closed loop between the cost of marketing and the revenue generated.
Senior Web Developer
Nile has a diverse range of skills including HubSpot and WordPress development, PHP & MySQL, video and photography, and an extensive knowledge of travel and language. When not hard at work, he’s usually hard at play: hiking, biking, gardening and exploring the world.
Senior Web Developer
Chris has a diverse background in business, marketing, and website design and development. Working with WordPress, HubSpot, PHP, JS, HTML and CSS, Chris has extensive experience in developing integrated marketing programs. When not working Chris is playing with his twin boys, getting outside or exploring new projects.
With over 13 years in creative design, Adrienne brings award winning media experience to the Alaniz team. Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, she’s worked with a wide range of government and commercial clients including Sprint and the Environmental Protection Agency. When not in the office, you can find her exploring the trails in the Bay Area, running a 10K, or spending time with her husband and young daughter.
Public Relations Associate
Amy is a graduate of nearby Sonoma State University where she earned her B.A. in Communications and Media Studies. She is the public relations associate for Alaniz. In her spare time, you can find her hiking and enjoying all that Sonoma County has to offer.
Troy came to Alaniz through the Sonoma State School of Business and Economics Mentorship Program. After successfully completing the mentorship program and an intensive summer internship, Troy was invited to join our team as a digital marketer. Troy has earned certifications from HubSpot and helps the team manage digital campaigns. When not on the job, you can find him out exploring the local Sonoma area through its hiking and mountain biking trails.
Julian is a creative graphic design and front-end website developer making beautiful websites, landing pages using his expertise in HTML, CSS and WordPress; and he builds effective marketing campaigns using HubSpot and SharpSpring. When not working, Julian spends his time with his son and plays guitar at local Bay Area venues.
HubSpot Certified Trainer
Larry founded a HubSpot inbound marketing agency after being a WordPress developer for 13 years. He is passionate about inbound marketing and is a HubSpot Certified Trainer. He’s learned the “secrets” of leveraging HubSpot to make marketing hyper-effective and customizes that information to help our clients meet their goals. Larry lives in Prescott, AZ, and when not at work, he is hiking or hanging out with teenagers as a volunteer with Boys to Men USA.
