UCSF Brain Health Registry

To drive inclusive enrollment for one of the world’s largest Alzheimer’s registries, we developed the primary study portal along with three dedicated multicultural campaign identities. Our generational Latino persona strategy resulted in over 6,700 Latino participants being recruited into the study.

ADNI (Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative)

Challenged to enroll participants across 13 nationwide sites in just five months, we deployed a culturally-informed social media strategy. The campaign generated over 1.1 million impressions and successfully referred 987 qualified participants to study sites.

BEYONDD Study

We architected a multilingual recruitment strategy designed to engage diverse populations for early-onset dementia research. The project focused on lowering barriers to entry for Black and Latinx communities through trusted messaging and simplified digital pathways.

Black Men's Brain Health

Partnering with athletes and researchers for their inaugural USC event, we managed the full branding, promotion, and hybrid event facilitation. The campaign resulted in double the original attendance goal and over 3,000 views of the recorded scientific sessions.

Joslin Diabetes Center (Harvard)

We leveraged the center’s prestige to recruit over 900 volunteers in just two months for two high-stakes Type 1 diabetes trials. By automating the follow-up patient screening survey, we achieved a randomization rate of over 10% for these highly specific protocols.

Hikma Pharmaceuticals

We partnered with Hikma and Velocity BioGroup to launch the “KNOCK FENT OUT” campaign in Philadelphia. The program used signal-based targeting to raise awareness of accidental fentanyl poisoning among the “opioid naive” and provided a locator for life-saving naloxone distribution.

Neurocrine Biosciences

We architected a custom, HIPAA-compliant patient registry designed to help Neurocrine identify and retain diverse clinical trial candidates for the long term. This systematic approach resulted in a 40% reduction in per-patient recruitment costs compared to legacy agency methods.

Velocity Bio Group

Working as a strategic communications partner, we collaborated on healthcare equity initiatives specifically for substance use disorder (SUD). Our efforts focused on building community alliances with local politicians and advocacy groups to ensure equitable access to care.

OptioRX

For this specialty pharmacy management company, we executed a massive HubSpot implementation across 15+ locations. The project included a complete sales program development, data cleansing of thousands of records, and the launch of automated education webinars at scale.

MedicoRX

We have provided long-term operational consulting and digital marketing management for this specialty pharmacy group. This included the oversight and modernization of the company’s four distinct websites to improve patient portal access and community engagement.

P5 Connect / PPAN

We designed the GTM systems and strategic alignment for these pharmacy networks to improve their B2B visibility. Our work ensured that their value prop was clearly communicated to both healthcare providers and insurance stakeholders.

TLC Pediatrics

We architected a warm, parent-centric brand identity and a highly accessible website for this leading pediatric occupational therapy provider. The project focused on creating a seamless digital path for families seeking specialized care, ensuring that the brand reflected the team’s deep commitment to child development and neurodiversity.

Marin Community Clinic

We rebranded and modernized the digital presence for this large FQHC serving over 35,000 patients. Our work spanned primary care branding, multilingual COVID-19 awareness campaigns, and the development of an interactive map for healthcare access.

Fordham University (Rivera Mindt Lab)

We collaborated with Dr. Monica Rivera Mindt to build her personal thought-leadership brand and lab website. This initiative helped bridge the gap between academic research and community advocacy, focusing on reducing healthcare disparities in neurology.

The Visionary:

For over 17 years, Roxanne Alaniz has sat at the intersection of marketing and mission. To Roxanne, healthcare equity isn’t just a category; it’s a personal calling. She recognized early on that while science was advancing at a breakneck pace, the communication of that science was leaving too many people behind. Her work is dedicated to ensuring that Black and Brown communities have the same access to life-saving research and care as everyone else.

The Sister Brand:

This passion led to the launch of Alaniz Health, our dedicated sister brand focused exclusively on health equity and multicultural engagement. While Alaniz Marketing provides the technical “engines” of growth, Alaniz Health provides the specialized “heart” required to bridge the gap of mistrust in underserved communities. They are two halves of the same whole: high-level engineering meets deep cultural empathy.
