Web and Graphic Designer
Alaniz is a fast growing digital marketing and web development agency located in Marin County. We have a tight-knit team of senior professionals and we have big plans for where we want to take our agency.
Our web department is growing fast and we’re looking for a Web and Graphic Designer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
User Experience Strategy – Work with the team to build sites that deliver results. Make meaningful contributions to marketing strategy and user experience and user interface design.
Branding – Work with the team to elevate the look and feel of brands, including logos, icons, fonts, colors, photography, and more.
Web Design – Design the look and feel of web interfaces using Photoshop and other design tools. Extra points for designers who can code or work in WordPress.
Collateral Design – Develop high quality brochures, advertisements, and print collateral.
Training – Complete all required training and certifications. Participate in ongoing professional development through active daily learning, weekly catered lunch and learns, and structured professional development tracks.
Requirements
Marketing Perspective – We’re building websites that connect with people and generate business results and we’re looking for someone who understands buyer behavior, user experience, inbound methodology (attract visitors, convert leads, nurture and close).
Attitude – Positive, can-do attitude. Independent problem solver that can figure anything out with a few minutes and a google window. Hard working. Fun to work with and a great team member.
Experience – We’re looking for someone who has a strong portfolio of work to demonstrate their experience. Ideally, they are comfortable interacting with customers, working with a team, and have experience managing multiple simultaneous projects. Agile or agency experience is a plus.
Education – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Committed to self improvement and self-led ongoing education with track record to show. Demonstration of ongoing education through online learning, reading books, certifications, and following trade blogs and news is highly valued.
