Inbound Marketing Consultant
Alaniz is a fast growing digital marketing agency located in Marin County. We have a tight-knit team of marketing professionals and we have big plans for where we want to take our agency.
We are currently looking for an experienced Inbound Marketing Consultant to join our team. The Inbound Marketing Consultant is responsible for client management, consulting and strategy development, project management, and campaign execution with support from the team.

Key Responsibilities
Account Management – Interact clients to understand needs, set strategy, spec projects, set expectations, ensure project success and client happiness.
Project Management – Work with our marketing team to deliver campaigns according to our agile process and inbound marketing framework. Participate in daily standups, review & retro, and planning meetings. Manage work in Jira, our project management platform.
Strategy Development – Conduct research, review analytics, and lead the development of digital marketing strategies that clearly align with client goals and business objectives. Develop and clearly articulate strategic plans to clients and internal marketing team.
Campaign Execution – Manage production, rollout, and analysis of campaigns. Roll up your sleeves to produce high quality content and campaign assets when needed. Oversee production and implementation of any campaign assets delivered by the team.
Technology and Platform Management – Manage and utilize core marketing technologies and platforms, including Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, HubSpot, Google Analytics, AdWords, and more.
Training – Complete all required training and certifications. Participate in ongoing professional development through active daily learning, weekly catered lunch and learns, and structured professional development tracks.
Requirements
Experience – 3-5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in an agency environment with experience managing and working multiple client accounts.
Digital Expert – Expert knowledge of modern buyer behavior and inbound marketing / demand generation strategy, including search, social, and content marketing. Ability to consult clients and apply inbound marketing strategy across industries and diverse business scenarios.
Marketing Technology – Power user of marketing technology, including Hubspot or a similar marketing automation platform. Knowledge of Adobe CS, WordPress, Google Analytics, AdWords, Moz strongly preferred.
Qualities – Positive, can-do attitude. Fun to work with and a great team member. Business savvy. Analytical. Adaptable. Strong writer.
Education – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Strong intrinsic drive for ongoing learning with ability to demonstrate through coursework, reading, and certifications.
