Tom Blondi: Successfully Integrating Sales and Marketing

By September 29, 2015May 13th, 2019Uncategorized

Live at InboundPHX, September 30

Our quarterly InboundPHX event is only one day away, with a another amazing line-up of industry leaders. “Empowering Sales Performance: Giving Sales What They Really Need” will give a unique perspective to marketers on how to make their marketing efforts more effective – not for themselves, but for their sales teams.

Why is this important? Only 50% of companies say sales and marketing have a formal definition of a qualified lead. (MarketingCharts) How can we, as marketers, expect sales to get value from our work when we don’t even have the same definition of a qualified lead?

One of our keynote speakers, Tom Blondi, CRO at SocialWhirled, has graciously answered a few questions about his presentation tomorrow: “The CRO Viewpoint.”

Having held various senior management positions, including CEO, President, Senior VP of Marketing, Senior VP of Sales and currently, Chief Revenue Officer at SocialWhirled, Tom is someone who has worked both Sales and Marketing, and knows what it takes to get them working together. He has over 30 years of experience in the software/technology industry specializing in early stage organizational development, marketing/sales, market expansion, positioning, international, capital formation and M&A. Tom has also written extensively and lectured professionally worldwide on sales, marketing and strategic management issues. Connect with Tom on Twitter and LinkedIn.
